The Challenge
The Ciliwung River Diversion to the East Flood Canal (KBT) project began in July 2021 and was carried out by PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) in collaboration with PT Jaya Konstruksi (Jakon). The project was targeted for completion within two years.
During the early implementation stage, the project team still relied on manual processes for drawing submissions, approvals, and task coordination among stakeholders. As the project involved multiple teams and complex workflows, task delegation and work instruction routing became increasingly varied and difficult to manage. In addition, project deadlines, specific work instructions, and task-related dispositions needed to be closely monitored to ensure every activity remained aligned with the planned schedule and execution targets.
WIKA – Jaya Konstruksi KSO is a construction consortium formed by PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama Tbk for the development of the Ciliwung River Diversion to the East Flood Canal (KBT) Project. This collaboration supports the enhancement of flood control infrastructure in Jakarta while reinforcing the strategic partnership between two of Indonesia’s leading construction companies.

Solution
The WIKA–Jaya team needed a cloud-based digital project management platform to manage task coordination and monitor project progress more efficiently across every stage of work.
To meet this need, the team implemented MANPRO as part of its Project Management process, particularly for Document Approval and Task Management involving project staff, contractors, and related stakeholders.

The WIKA–Jaya team began using MANPRO in 2021 to support the Ciliwung River Diversion to the East Flood Canal (KBT) Project. The implementation of this digital platform helped improve efficiency, workflow organization, and coordination across project activities.
To date, approximately 100 users from the WIKA–Jaya team have used MANPRO to support coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders involved in the project.
